In the first period, the Dragons took Salibanzai by surprise by pushing the pace, allowing them to draw first blood as Julio Arenas scored a quick goal with just over a minute on the clock.
Nimuel Diones would respond with a goal of his own off the break, quickly followed by Jun Pellejera who then recovered a bounce from Ian Galman, leaving him wide open for a goal from the center, putting Salibanzai up by one.
The Dragons would keep themselves in the game as their continued fast play allowed Natballz Hizon a goal to tie the score at 2 apiece with less than half of the period remaining, but Saldio Amador would put Salibanzai ahead once again with a goal at 8:34.
From there, Salibanzai left the Dragons in the dust with their strong control, stopping the break and allowing Joco Navarro and Tata Cabillas to each score a goal, ending the period at 5-2. They would get more of the same in the third as JK De Jesus added 2 goals and Diones picked up a second goal off an assist by Pellejera. Miguel Dimacali then put a finishing touch on the game, scoring with a high-arcing shot from just short of the half-court line that flew past the defense.
